RuneE, a photographer, from Norway has begun posting photos of benches on Fridays. I thought I would join him today with a bench at an exquisite location: Lake O'Hara in Yoho National Park, British Columbia. Clicking on the photo will enlarge it for better viewing.

That was indeed a an exceptional bench at an exquisite location. The colour alone made it stand out, but at the same time fit in. A closer look seems to indicate that it was made in-situ.
Thank you for joining in!
Oh I do love benches, Barbara! This one makes me want to wander into the photo and sit on it to regard the view.
What a cool bench!! I wish I were sitting there now. Thanks for sharing.
Oh wow. Now there's an example of how civilization can encroach on nature without diminishing it.
RuneE, I'm now looking for another bench photo.
Raph, gardens and benches go so well together.
Teresa, the snow and ice will be melted away by late May.
Charles, a nice invitation to view the pristine wilderness.

good evening Barbara.
Wonderful photo, Barbara. And the landscape is breath taking :)
I'd take a seat on that bench with great pleasure. :)
What a unique looking bench in a perfectly marvelous spot! I have a blog for benches alone called For the love of benches continued. A friend in France does also and we visit each other's blog on benches regularly. I am going to bookmark your blog to not miss any benches on Friday but also return because I see some wonderful photos I would enjoy!
