These benches are located in Queens Park in Toronto, Ontario. Yesterday parts of the city received 15cm of snow and freezing rain which isn't such good weather for benches.

This bench is located along the South Saskatchewan River that flows through Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The South Saskatchwan River joins the North Saskatchewan River in Prince Albert, to the north.

These benches are located on the south-east side of the Lake Agnes Tea House above Lake Louise, behind Beehive Mountain, in Banff National Park.


On the opposite side of the Tea House is Lake Agnes with another bench to sit and contemplate nature while watching the remaining ice melt.

Bench of the Week (26)

This bench is located on the south side of the North Saskatchewan river that runs through Edmonton, Alberta. It provides a lovely view of the downtown skyline.

On the far right of the building skyline can be seen the peaked roof of the Macdonald Hotel. The Macdonald was built in 1912 by the Grand Trunk Railway, and is now owned by the Fairmont Hotel chain.

These benches are located at Tofino where the Pacific Terminus of the Trans-Canada highway ends as related by the tourism department of Tofino. The sign in the photo speaks for itself. Tofino, British Columbia is well known for its whale watching activities from March through to September, when the gray whales make their migration.

Butterstub Marsh is located in the city of Nanaimo on Vancouver Island, B.C. It is a man-made bird sanctuary with a wide trail that loops around a wet marsh. A perfect spot for a stroll to get away and refresh one’s energy.
