For the remainder of the week I won't be posting anything due to Christmas but will be checking back for comments.

For those celebrating Christmas, a song from Celine Dion:

Happy holidays to you and your family, Barbara! Almost time for New Years resolutions. Sigh. And then my birthday in January. Oh, dear. Another year older. Well, Merry Christmas! D

Barara, first of all, a very happy Christmas! Thank you for the delightful comment about Chrismas memories on my blog. I hope lots of others read and enjoyed it as much as I did! I also remember a Christmas when we all felt that the fruitcake needed an extra dash of brandy and each family member did his/her bit unbeknown to the others. It made for a rather soggy cake! The Nutcracker ballet is also an item at the State Theater every year and we watched it time and again when the girls were still at home. I loved Little Clara in her nightdress and the satin ribbon in her long hair.

I look forward to our friendship growing closer in 2009 as we share one another's worlds! Be blessed, dear friend!

A belated Merry Christmas, Barbara! Our internet connection blew out on account of a storm here. Hope you had good weather in Canada!
