Kathlyn Lake is 4 km north of Smithers, British Columbia on Highway 16 not far from Prince Rupert on the coast. Here the fisherman can find Cutthroat trout.

Our most popular trout fishing here in NZ is Lake Taupo, though I always prefered the smaller, out-of-the-way places.

This photo spoke to me when I discovered it. Though it probably gets a mite cold in the winter.
