Kia ora Barbara, I love the whole scene, the river, the mountains, and that blazing blue sky. I imagine it being morning, putting my pack on and having the whole day to explore those far off peaks. I start my day here in NZ with a big smile Barbara. Cheers! Aroha, Robb
Holy Cow! I didn't really know how fantastic that photo was until I enlarged it. I live in a beautiful area so it is hard to impress me but this did:-)
Leah, this scene reminded me of those hot, hazy days of summer that Alberta is famous for.
Wil, this location is just east of the Banff National Park boundary. Canmore is a stepping off point to head south to the Kananaskis Provincial Park.
Robb, the view is east with a noon-day sun. Some people canoe the Bow River from the Banff Springs Hotel after Bow Falls down to Canmore or even Calgary.
I so love all the different shaped mountains in the photos on your blog, Barbara! These are amazing, and the tall shapes of the trees in front draw the eye in.

Cloudia, everyone's soul needs a lift, which is why I post the landscapes.
Ronda, I try to locate photos that resonate with artistic clarity. There are other photos equally as nice as this one on this blog.
