Now there is some snow. Never seen that much in my life at one time.

What beautiful country, Barbara! And the hut tucked in there is nothing short of exquisite.

RuneE, the wilderness always has something tucked away for a photographer. Mr. McKay has a fine eye.

Leah, it does except for making certain there is enough wood chopped to keep the fireplace going.

Charles, I've seen four to five foot banks of snow at the edge of highways in the mountains over the years. It tends to run in cycles.

David, I'm certain Maine has quite a bit of snow now, with its countryside glistening with it.

Happy New Year, Barbara and may 2014 be inspiring and fruitful for you.

What beautiful scenery with the form and shape of the land emphasized by snow. It looks so serene there.

Lovely snowy world. We had a few weeks of sweltering heat in Australia, but last week Wednesday it started to rain buckets and buckets of water. Wonderful to see how green everything has become.
