Herbert Lake is just off the Icefields Parkway (Hwy 93) north of Lake Louise in Banff National Park, Alberta.
There is a daily catch and possession limit in the park of two fish for any of the following: arctic grayling, rainbow trout, brown trout, lake trout, brook trout, northern pike, mountain whitefish, and lake whitefish.

Barbara, thank you for your visit! The tubular root D'Ora is sniffing in the market is cassava, manioc, I found it out when I looked through all the pictures I made and found a sign saying cassava.
I have never tasted cassava or cooked it, but many people like it.
I could sure picture myself on the bank with a fishing pole.

What a beautiful lake. I once got to spend a couple of days in the Canadian Rockies and the scenery is majestic. Hope your water leak isn't too bad.
