Charles, Travis, Webradio and Bernard: I pass this pond whenever I take the Long Branch streetcar to downtown. It is the only place along the route that shows no sign of civilization. It is as if you are looking at another world.
Barrie, if I post photos of Alberta or Saskatchewan they have the same effect on me.
Lana, then you and Charles will have to come for a visit enroute to Emerald Lake.
Rick, it's a great place to take half an hour to walk in nature to get in touch with that inner self. Helps with the creativity, too.
Steve, as long as the days are sunny here I don't mind the winter so much, though my bones do ache when the humidity comes with the frigid cold. Once December 21st comes I'm looking forward to the longer days and walks in the parks.

Wow, those colors are amazing.
Stunningly beautiful.
The colours are beautiful in the water...
That is a gorgeous autumn picture.

It's gorgeous and making me homesick.
One of my "life in Toronto" regrets is that I never had enough time to truly visit High Park. Lovely photo.
Hi Babara! I haven't been to High Park for years. So much to see, so little time. But I have to stop by there again some time.
Reminds me of Minnesota that time of year. We're pretty well into summer now...

What an incredibly beautiful photo, Barbara.
Debra, your area should be about the same in autumn colours as here. Being close to the Great Lakes keeps the surrounding landmass warmer.
Nothing like autumn for showing us the colours with a full palette!
Gorgeous pic! Thank you! :-)
RunE, I love the autumns that linger with warm weather before it turns cold. Then the leaves stay just a little longer.
Vesper, I lived in Montreal for several years and enjoyed the light shows in the summertime. Autumn is beautiful there too.
What a great autumn picture! Sooo lovely!
