Brr. From the snow on the bench, you can almost sense what direction the wind was.
I am so sad to see everyone with snow benches! (It has only snowed once this winter here.) But I am enjoying seeing them and the snow also! Thanks for sharing your snow with me!
Great picture, Barbara. I think I would build a snowman before trying to sit down, though.
It seems that the thaw is beginning to show up in Canada, although the bench had a nice, untouched air about it.
It's resting for a busy summer ahead.
I guess you guys get a lot more snow than us. Ours has gone now, thank goodness; it's chaos here when it snows, we're not used to it.
Kia ora Barbara, A lovely and peaceful scene, very serene. I would want to have my long johns on when I sat down though.Aroha,Robb
I'm somewhat missing the snow now that we've gone back to grey cold rain. I'm glad it gave an opportunity to get photos like these though.
This particular snow is of the wet variety, which is excellent for making snowmen. In Toronto the temperatures have been near the freezing point and tomorrow we are expecting a high of 7C. This should melt most of the snow around, although winter is not likely to be over until March or so.
