This bench is near the bridge on Centre Island located in Toronto, Ontario. Previous posts about the Toronto Islands were about the
Ferry Service and
history.

Now that's a view. What a marvelous bridge.
I was surprised to read (courtesy of your link) that over a million people visit the Toronto Islands per year. The effect of the colours in your photo is interesting, and the softness appealing. The other photos in your link are interesting too.I guess these places are covered in snow at the moment.I inadvertently posted a bench, forgetting all about Bench of the Week - maybe I'm on automatic pilot!
A fairly simple bench with a sophisticated view.
Hmmm. Nice reminder of warmer days in the past or, perhaps (although the possibility seems remote at the moment), days to come. Pretty scene.
Looks like a good spot to get lost in thought.
A lovely bench with a beautiful view!
Lana spent some time in Toronto. she doesn't seem to remember most of it with fondness.
Simple bench with a beautiful view! I am glad I could stop by today and see it -- was out walking most of yesterday and finding more benches where my son lives in WA. . . but then it is still Friday here!
At first look that shot reminded me of Louisianan.
That looks a tranquil spot, Barbara, and I like the effect of the light in the photo.
Although there are many sights to see and activities to participate in on the Toronto Islands, benches in many locations make for pleasant relaxation.
beauty...
after all the years i spent living in 'trawna' i never got out to the island
I love the view of that bridge. Another must-see bench for your Canadian bench tour.
The colors give this a surreal look. I really like it. Nicely captured.
No doubt I have walked past that bench. And maybe even sat on it! ;)
