Bench of the Week (29) - Saskatoon

This bench is located along the South Saskatchewan River that flows through Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The South Saskatchwan River joins the North Saskatchewan River in Prince Albert, to the north.

RuneE of Visual Norway has an informal meme of Bench of the Week. Please visit his site to locate other participants.

What a beautful bench view, Barbara! I could sit here for hours watching the water flow by. I'm thinking that maybe you should organize "bench tours" around Canada so we can visit these marvelous places in person!

Gazing on water is always so restful.

This looks so peaceful with the horizontal skyline in the distance!

Ahh, I feel my tension taken away by the current.

I can see a mystery starting at that scene. Someone comes along and sits at the bench, then sees something in the water. It's a hand. Just a hand. The mystery begins.

Teresa, that's certainly a thought.

Dina, it is indeed.

David, I have always liked looking at rivers while wondering about the early transport the settlers and explorers used.

Phoenix, the opposite shore provides a nice focal point.

Leah, I find photos of landscape to be very beneficial in soothing stress or tired nerves.

Charles, perhaps you have something there.

Since 2007 until late October 2009 seven severed feet have washed up on the west coast of B.C. There's an lead for a story.

RuneE, Saskatoon is also the name for an edible berry similar to blueberries except they are are dark red-purple colour. The bushes grow in prolific numbers throughout the parkland areas of western Canada.

There must be more benches that look out on water, than anything else.

I think I could sit there for a spell and might not want to share that bench! Beautiful view!

I am trying to catch up on bench posts since I was laid up with back problems for awhile. Hopefully, I am back to blogging full time on both my blogs. . . I had pre-loaded and scheduled a number of benches so that is why they kept coming even tho I wasn't on the computer.
