[1]These benches are located on the south-east side of the Lake Agnes Tea House above Lake Louise, behind Beehive Mountain, in Banff National Park.
On the opposite side of the Tea House is Lake Agnes with another bench to sit and contemplate nature while watching the remaining ice melt.

No one can complain about the design of these benches! Local products used, and probably made by somebody with a sense of humour.

RuneE, most of the man-made benches in the national parks are unique.
Gerald, this is a wonderful place for a respite after climbing the trail from Lake Louise.
Leah, I've been up here on horseback, the best way to save one's legs.
Charles, it's quite pleasant at the tea house in the summer, though usually teeming with tourists. Fall is best to avoid the crowds.
So are there hotel rooms at the tea house, as in can I move in there and never leave? These benches are great!
Teresa, this is a summer only tea house and very far up the mountain. You could take permanent rooms at the Chateau Lake Louise, I'm sure. I will be doing a hiking post on this trail later this month so you will be able to see how far up it is from the Chateau.

Phoenix, the location is magnificent when there aren't too many tourists, otherwise the place becomes too crowded. But the views are wonderful from here.
