Patti, I don't see it that way at all. It's a time of getting ready to hibernate before the season festivities in December, followed by an anticipation of spring. At least in southwestern Ontario the winters are not that long. Elsewhere it tends to be four months of poor sledding.

Gallow, Lake Ontario always has some kind of wave size on it. The water at this lake would not be deep enough for an ocean going freighter.

ReplyDeleteChris, there are many, many places in Canada just made for the camera.
Phoenix, it's one of those heavy wood lake chairs that's comfortable to sit in, especially with a small pillow.

ReplyDeleteHow timely. We just went up to the cottage for one last overnight to collect the rods and gear for the winter. I'm going to miss it until spring. :)
