These are the Battleship Islands as their outlines from the Black Tusk mountain appear as battleships or submarines. These islands are located at the Garibaldi Provincial Park in British Columbia, 70km north of Vancouver.

I would really like to be in that group of hikers right now. The scenery with the lake and the snow-covered mountains is gorgeous!

Hello Barbara.
This image is magical, it's like being in a tale of "Andersen.

I see where they get their name. The shape, and the pines look like a green sail. Or smokestacks.

Cloudia, there are many things in nature that provide messages to those that see.

Teresa, this is true wilderness for those who seek it.

EG, B.C. is full of many treasures.

Philip, a little glacier for those of us sweltering in the northern hemisphere.

That's such a stunning photo! Each of your pictures makes me long to be away from Texas and move over there.

Narie, it is only a shape the trees make from a distance. Otherwise, the scenery is beautiful without imagining it is something else.

Bindu, you are meant to be in Texas at this time. Perhaps you should come for a week's vacation to savour the area you choose.
