Reflecting on summer days

Although I have posted this photo before, I have been thinking of summer this past week after enduring some nasty frigid weather via a drafty window. This looks a perfect place to sit a spell and contemplate nature at temperatures a bit more to my liking.

What is it about reflections that add to the majestic look of a photo like this? But even so, a beautiful photo.

Makes me want to dip a line. I see a place like that and I think of fishing.

Kia ora Barbara,
Beautiful. Looks like a great place to unfurl the sleeping bag, boil the billy, and watch the day and evening unfurl. It is summer here and I am taking my boys to the river for a swim on this hot and muggy day. Never fear spring time will be upon you soon. Kia kaha!
Aroha,
Robb

It is very good to see summer colors again. I need a break from the monochrome winter. Thank you for sharing.

oooo... to lie in that sweet green grass and look up at the sky, and sit up and see that magnificent view. You must be really wanting the chilly weather to end.

It would probably help if the landlord had cleaned out the hot air ducts on my side of the house before winter set in. Across the hall the temperature is 80F and on my side I'm lucky if I can get it to stay above 66F. However, I'm certain I'll be complaining once the hot humid air of summer starts and this chilly experience will be but a memory.
