That is so beautiful! I have always wanted to stay at a lodge in the winter because of how gorgeous and pristine everything looks. This lodge is no exception to that...I love the reflection on the water.

This photo is amazing. I like the reflection, the snow he mountains the bridge... Great shot.

Norman Rockwell would have loved that for inspiration.

This looks beautifully picturesque - and very cold too! I imagine there will be cosy log fires!

merry christmas to you and yours, barbara :)

It's not that cold as the water hasn't yet started to freeze over. When the very cold weather begins with -18C / 0F then the ice will begin to thicken and ice fishing will begin (if not here then in other parts of Canada).

You have got a fine reflection here, and a beautiful place in Winter - but I'm a summer person... :-)

It looks stark and yet tranquil. I love observing winter from a distance - and preferably while I'm in the warm indoors with a hot drink close at hand.

RuneE, I like winter fine provided I'm dressed for it and close to a cabin with a warm fire afterwards.

Marian, hot chocolate with coffee and a dash of cinnamon is my idea of a nice hot drink. Oh, and a good ounce of brandy.
