  1. 50 lbs?? Now those are muskies! I was 3 hours north of Toronto this past weekend for a training seminar. The weather was great and the surrounding scenery beautiful.

  10. Rick, perhaps you were doing an outward bound session, learning how to live in the wilderness with nothing but a knife.

    Wil, as could I.

Charles, the morning fog had the same affect on me.

  11. Josh, this is the whole idea of the fishing location photos on Tuesday to get back into nature for rejuvenation from the city life.

RuneE, I suppose I should start taking my own photos since I seem to have an eye for picking them out.

    Leah, it seems so.

  12. Leah, most nature photos have the same affect on me, which is why I post them for others to enjoy.

Teresa, there are many rivers and lakes in northern Ontario to explore, this being only one of them.

Tony, this is isn't too far from Wood Mountain, couple hundred miles or so.

  14. How beautiful and tranquil, Barbara. Is that mist over the water?

  15. Stunning. I was with my brother-in-law when he caught a 48 inch muskie, and I thought that was huge. I can't imagine how large the 25 to 50 pound fish are.

What an incredible photo. It has so many great elements, and wonderful color.

  18. Rajesh, thank you.

    Phoenix, mist it is.

Tony, it's always worth the walk.

  19. Steven, for the muskies to get so large there must be some kind of growth serum in the water.

Pam, Kenora is a lovely place. Once I thought I wanted to live there year round.

Marian, you could always start with High Park and work your way into longer walks.
