Fishing - Lorette Pond

This is Mount Lorette Pond in Kananaskis Provincial Park, Alberta, which is stocked seasonally with rainbow trout. It's a good idea to pick up a fishing license before putting a line out, as the fish police tend to lurk.

  1. I love this picture, Barbara. The water is so clear. I wouldn't need a license; I'd just be swimming with the fish!

  11. Fish police! I'm picturing some kind of mer-creatures with dark-blue scales ...

  12. Raph, interesting thought, but I'm afraid they're more mundane than that. Just government officials working with the Fish and Game Department.
