Isaac Lake is located in Bowron Lake Provincial Park in the Cariboo-Chilcotin coast area of British Columbia. The lake is 31 km long with some white water. It has an average depth of 200 feet with its deepest point at almost 600 feet. The types of fish found here are: Kokanee, Mountain Whitefish, Lake Char and Bull Trout. A fisherman's paradise.

hi barbara, my brother paddled the bowron circuit many years ago and still talks about it to this day. his photographs were absolutely stunning. it's an amazing resource and i am not surprised to discover that it is "world-famous"!. steven

ReplyDeleteRajesh, in the Rockies around lakes the morning mist takes time to burn off and these were those last whispy bits. I have seen similar occurrences at Lake Minnewanka in Banff National Park.

Steven, the canoe trekking via the Bowron Loop can take as long as the person desires. I like the variety of campsites, and when there are fish to catch one will never go hungry.
