Bench of the Week (5)

This photo was taken at Parksville Beach, British Columbia. Parksville is located on the central eastern shores of Vancouver Island, 30km north of the Nanaimo Departure Bay Ferry Terminal and 2 hours driving from Victoria at the southern tip of the island. Click photo to enlarge.

To view another bench far across the pond where RuneE at Visual Norway has a delightful set.

Raph Neckmann has posted his bench today too.

Phoenix C. of Sylvan Muse has lovely bench photos in forest glens.

This looks like a place which will have lovely fresh air and be an invigorating environment to be refreshed after sitting indoors at the computer!

You know Barbara I might just jump in on this next week with a bench I discovered a few weeks ago in Maine. I enjoy these posts.

I've jumped in too, like David Cranmer! Lovely bench and view, Barbara.

I enjoyed the site for that one - it reminds me of home. I had almost said "Sitting on the dock of the bay"...

That's a bench I could sit on for hours! (if I had my sunscreen)

What a great idea. I came across a couple of benches yesterday that I could have included. Pity, I won't be returning for a while, although I did post about my visit to the bird sanctuary and some photos.

Phoenix, I agree, stuffy offices are not the best places to be when the sun is shining and the water waiting.

David, I find photos of benches very relaxing to look at.

Raph, I linked you up earlier. Love your photo.

Gary, then it is a small world indeed.

Clair, the nice thing about the area is the smell of salt in the breeze.

RuneE, it would be all right for you to say that...happy to know it held inspiration for you.

Teresa, the perfect place for a sunhat, a good book and a cold drink.

Shelley, benches are everywhere, sitting unobtrusively while people pass them by.

Looks like a wonderful area for a bench! I would pause awhile if I was walking by there! Glad you are posting benches also == Malyss and I do it every day! Many times my benches are not in such a beautiful scene tho but I jsut take photos of the benches. Mine is on For the Love of Benches, a link on my sidebar. Been doing it for a couple years daily.

Pam, any photo of a bench provides an instant relaxation of any stress one is encountering in the day, whether it is in the office or at home working on a wriring assignment.

Perbs, nice to see you back again. Drop over to RuneE's blog when he posts his benches and let him know yours are up.
