The swing bridge and river crossings are very similar to New Zealand, where a days tramp in the mountains will almost always mean wet boots at some stage. That river looks very glacial by the colour. This hike is walking along a flat river valley without much elevation change. Spring and fall would be better times to cross the Athabasca and the Chaba as their levels would be lower.
