  5. Will, nice to see you out and about.

Tony, it had the same effect on me.

Teresa, the photographer caught it at a perfect angle with the light.

  9. Clare, on a hot day frigid water might be tempting to leave you breathless after plunging in.

Cuban, this is in a very nice location in the Canadian Rockies for finding peace in yourself.

  11. My goodness! That is a beautiful view! I live in flat land and always appreciate the depth that mountains give a place. Also, living in Chicago I can appreciate the clear water as it is very different from what we have!

  14. Phoenix, welcome to my blog of inspiration in far off places (from Toronto).

Lauren, the colour of each of the mountain lakes depends on the time of year: blue green in early summer and blue-turquoise in mid-summer into fall. It has to do with the mineral content in the glacial silt that flows into the lakes when the snow melts.

Pam, I see you have the same sentiment I had when I spied this photo.

  15. Leigh, this part of Yoho National Park has an ethereal quality to it.

The photographer used a different type of film to take this photo. I have used other photos of his that have a different quality to them.
